This is an important player in the hair colouring process, but it can also be damaging to your hair when used incorrectly. To help you use hydrogen peroxide safely and effectively and get the desired hair colouring results, please refer to the following suggestions:
1. Choose the right concentration of peroxide:
3% (10 vol): Suitable for colouring hair of the same shade, slightly brightening hair colour or covering gray hair with minimal damage to the hair.
6% (20 vol): Suitable for 1-2 shades of colour enhancement, the most commonly used concentration for daily hair colouring.
9% (30 vol): Suitable for 2-3 shades of colour enhancement, for darker hair colors, lighter colors or more noticeable changes in hair colour.
12% (40 vol): Suitable for 3-4 shades of colour enhancement, bleaching effect is obvious, but it is more damaging to the hair, it is recommended to be handled by professionals.
2. Conduct a skin test:
Before using any hair coloring product, always carry out a skin test to ensure that you are not allergic to the ingredients. Apply a small amount of the mixed hair dye behind the ear or on the inner side of the arm and wait for 48 hours, if there is no redness, swelling, itching and other uncomfortable reactions, then it can be used.
3. Mix hydrogen peroxide and hair dye according to the ratio:
The mixing ratio of hydrogen peroxide and hair dye may vary for different brands of hair colouring products. Please be sure to read the product instructions carefully and mix according to the instructions to ensure the best hair colouring effect and safety.
Product Operate Guide:
Step 1: Hair Inspection: Check the condition of the customer's hair and check whether the hair is damaged.
Step 2: Select a color :confirm the customer's expected hair color, and select a color from the color reference board.
Step 3: Dye Cream Mixture : Mix dye cream or bleach powder with peroxide in a ratio of 1:1
Step 4: Processing and timing :Apply the dye cream mixture to the hair, it is recommended to start 1 cm from the scalp; Follow the processing time as follows: 30 minutes without heating, 5 minutes with heating, 15 minutes without heating, and perfect saturation is achieved.
Step 5: Rinse the dye with warm water.
Step 6: Do not paint again for a week after coloring.
